Athens, January 2017. The Special Supply Center for the Army Units, implemented the Electronic Invoicing solutions by Retail@Link (member of the Entersoft group), in order to achieve the automated data entry of the electronic documents received from its suppliers, directly to its information system.
The Special Supply Center for the Army Units chose to connect with the wide and constantly developing e-Invoicing network of Retail@Link, in order to achieve the automated collection, data entry and archiving of the documents of every message received directly to the ERP system, eliminating delays, mistakes and repetitive controls of the integrity of the collected data or manual procedures that traditionally took place in the past. More specifically the Special Supply Center for the Army Units, implemented the solution R@L e-Invoicing EDI, that offers the possibility of direct interconnection without requiring adaptation of the existing information systems / infrastructure. As a result, there is a drastic decrease of the cost of exchange, control and data entry since all the involving parties receive automated notifications.
The mission of the Special Supply Center for the Army Units is to organize the services and ensure the conditions for servicing the Units of the Army of Land, as well other important needs of the Military and Civilian Staff of the Army (active or retired), with capitals not included in the State Budget. It contains Food Service Station, Gas Station, Department Store, and Coffee Shop. The target of the cooperation with Retail@Link, is the support and enhancement of the commercial relations of the Special Supply Center for the Army Units with its suppliers, and therefore through a safe, modern and user-friendly environment of data exchange to ensure faster cooperation and increased visibility with multiple benefits, since only one connection to the electronic hub of Retail@Link (B2B Hub) is enough to ensure the direct interconnection with every company-member already connected to the electronic hub.
According to Mr Kordis Nikolaos, Head of Financial Services at the Special Supply Center for the Army Units:
«Our target is to continuously evolve our commercial relationships through innovative collaborative models and modern technologies, making the experience of cooperating with the Special Supply Center for the Army Units not only accessible, but with mutual benefits for all the involving parties. Taking advantage of the services of Retail@Link, we ensure speed, security and accuracy in the collection and data entry of our documents. Being in charge of the implementation of this project from the Special Supply Center for the Army Units side, I can say that during the first stage of our cooperation with Retail@Link, meaning the development and initial implementation of the project, we value Retail@Link and its executives as trustworthy partners that respond quickly and efficiently to our needs. And this is the requirement for building stable and professional collaborations.”
